The former Zhongshan Football Stadium in Taipei, closed in 2008, was transformed into a thriving community garden and urban farm to promote sustainability and green space. The project converted concrete stands and the field area into rental plots for residents to grow vegetables, herbs, and flowers. It serves as a model for reusing infrastructure to reduce carbon emissions, offering a space for agricultural education, community connection, and local food production.
