Nari Reserve in Sheidow Park is an open space reserve that has undergone restoration activities in recent years. Over the past six years, local volunteers, particularly the Friends of Glenthorne, have been active in planting native vegetation to restore habitat for woodland birds and support endangered Grey Box woodland ecosystems. Native trees have been planted aiming for 20% canopy cover. Revegetation plots established to support local Butterfly species.
