Located in the East Gippsland region of Victoria, Mountain Creek is approximately 400 hectares and is made up of largely cleared paddocks, meaning there is little existing native vegetation. We expect that over 300 hectares will be planted to generate over 150,000 ACCUs across 25 years. The property is built around planting woodland on all cleared areas and retains several hectares of grazing and cropping paddocks on the road frontages. Like Toby’s, we’re planning to lease areas to graze cattle and sheep on the property.

Regenerative farming and grazing practices can, among other benefits, reverse climate change by rebuilding soil organic matter and restoring degraded biodiversity – resulting in both carbon drawdown and improving the water cycle.
