Lytle Creek is an 18-mile-long stream and a small census-designated place (CDP) tucked into the eastern San Gabriel Mountains of San Bernardino County, California, just 16 miles northwest of downtown San Bernardino. It is a popular, scenic escape within the San Bernardino National Forest known for its dramatic rock pools, hiking trails, and the mystery of the legendary "Lytle Creek Monster".
