Many airports are now taking real action to track their impact on the local biodiversity. Of course, for safety reasons, some airports need to control certain airborne species, such as the birds or bats. But there are many other species to track, as well as opportunities to help track and regenerate the biodiversity of nearby locations - even adopt a location as an offset.
