A 20 km stretch of bitumen which runs from the community to the Stuart Highway. Recently (within the past 12 months) burnt, the area is natural bushland, dominated in part by spinifex. A variety of reptile and bird species. The area becomes flooded during rain events. This realm is home, food, medicine and culture all in one. To the Alyawarra, Kaytetye, Warrumungu and Warlpiri people, it is not just a beautiful bush, it holds family law, history and Dreaming stories.
