Sennyuji Temple stands at the foot of Mount Tsukinowa, one of the 36 peaks of Higashiyama. As the family temple of the Imperial family and a training center for various sects, its magnificent roofed buildings make it a secluded and tranquil haven of escaping the secular world, a castle of pure and innocent law.
